The new Fire Station 55 and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Facility represents a $18.4 million investment in Carson City’s public safety infrastructure. This modern, 18,000-square-foot masonry building is the city’s first new fire station since the mid-1970s and the fifth fire station in Carson City. Designed as a multi-purpose facility, it integrates fire suppression functions with emergency management operations to improve regional response. The building includes fire station operations, a dedicated EOC, a backup dispatch center, and IT offices underscoring the city’s commitment to reliable communication and coordination during emergencies.
